Energy

Maryland needs more energy — NOW

Families are paying steeply higher energy bills now, not 10 years from now.

Energy affordability is essential.  It costs us directly and its costs are part of everything we buy.

Not all energy projects move at the same speed

We need to invest in solutions that increase our energy supply quickly.  Installing solar and batteries in our homes and businesses can be done now.

At the other end of  the spectrum, new nuclear plants and long-distance transmission lines can take a decade or more to finish.  Not only are they very costly, families wait far too long to see the economic benefits.

Build what can lower bills in this decade

I support:

  • Fast-tracking solar, storage and grid updates
  • Expanding supply to reduce scarcity and price spikes
  • Choosing practical solutions, not political delay
